THE ROOMS
Listed among the 4-star accommodations of Gîte de France, L'Arbre à Chapeaux offers three double rooms and one comfortable suite, renovated by artisans, artists, and companies registered with the Living Heritage organisation.
At L'Arbre à Chapeaux, the names of the rooms come from the past and the customs that once shaped life in the house. The ‘chambre’ was then a room, a place to live and often to work. Such as the ‘Chambre Neuve’, the last room to be renovated by our great-grandparents Cécile and Abel, to turn it into a cabinet-making workshop.
Nicknamed ‘the chicken room’, the Corner Room offers views of the Doubs River and the Val de Morteau.

Nicknamed ‘the room with the small beds’, the Middle Room overlooks the Doubs river and has a private terrace.

The place is authentic, as is the welcome. We cultivate a way of life made up of artistic and human discoveries and, above all, rich in all the little joys that everyday life has to offer. L'arbre à chapeaux is a place of welcome and exchange; quite simply, a place of life.
We are delighted to welcome you throughout the year, depending on the season, events at L'Arbre à Chapeaux and our availability. For your convenience, reservations must be made at least 72 hours before your arrival.
...AND THE CUTLERY
The table d'hôte is available to guests staying in our rooms, subject to availability and always subject to reservation at least one day in advance.
The dishes are cooked exclusively by us using local produce or, where possible, produce sourced from short supply chains.
There is a single menu, cooked according to the season and our inspiration. It usually consists of a starter, a slow-cooked meat dish with accompaniments, a platter of local cheeses and a dessert.
It is available from 38€TTC per person, excluding drinks.
We offer our guests a selection of aperitif, digestif, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as wines from various French vineyards.
