"When I put on my smock, I become a stream, an ocean, a tree, a plant, a forest... It's a world of possibilities, and the song of dance around the canvas. It's a journey into the heart of colour and painting, because painting is living more intensely! I use mixed media, but mainly oil paint. I paint flat, and my inspiration is water, rivers, springs, oceans, but also plants when they are close to water.‘ Sylvie says that her ’small stature" has allowed her to discover the Puits Noir ravine in Ornans in a new and delightfully captivating way. She brings back from her wanderings under the leaves sumptuous, poetic and intensely vivid landscapes. Her talent and her eye transport us in turn into the shoes of elves or Lilliputians, wonderfully protected by this tender foliage... Let's not deprive ourselves of this journey!"
